Seal Tight® Instructions |
1. Smooth all burrs and rough edges from the cast to prevent tears in the durable synthetic rubber diaphragm.
2. To help the SEAL-TIGHT® slide on easily, use talcum powder or put a nylon stocking over the cast, tucking the end into the top of the cast so it does not extend outside the diaphragm opening.
3.Grasp the plastic ring and with your thumbs stretching the rubber diaphragm, pull the SEAL-TIGHT® over your cast or bandage. For long arm and leg models, pull the protector up halfway and ease all excess vinyl material around elbow or heel, giving the diaphragm and ring freedom to slide on completely.
4.Once completely over the cast, gently push the plastic ring toward the cast or bandages so the inner edge of the rubber points up and away from the cast or bandage.
5.When removing the SEAL-TIGHT®, dry the rubber diaphragm, grasp the plastic ring, and stretch the rubber diaphragm with your thumbs to ease over your elbow or heel. DO NOT take off by pulling on vinyl bag.
CAUTIONS: Fingernails may cause the rubber diaphragm to tear. Vinyl is slippery when wet. Use care around bathing areas. If sitting in a bathtub, DO NOT put weight on the SEAL-TIGHT® ring. With children, adult supervision is recommended.
